Summer Camp

Welcome to CATS Summer Camp 2025!

Our intensive and creative two-week theatre camp offers campers ages 4-14, with an exceptional introduction to drama, dance, vocals and visual arts.

A semi-professional show is mounted on the last day of each camp session!

Makeup show performance date included (in case of rain)

Junior Summer Camp Program (Ages 4-6)

The Junior Summer Camp is a two-week program that focuses on role-playing, storytelling, pantomime, improvisation, dance, vocals and visual arts. At the end of the camp session there is a final performance.

Intermediate Summer Camp Program (Ages 7-9)

The Intermediate Summer Camp is a two-week program that focuses on improvisation, role-playing, comedy, character development, physical theatre, mask, dance, vocals and visual arts. This intermediate level also includes a behind-the-scenes component, which allows students the opportunity to design and construct sets and props for the final performance. At the end of the camp session there is a final performance.

Advanced Summer Camp Program (Ages 10-14)

The Advanced Summer Camp is a two-week program that focuses on advanced theatre training, including improvisation, comedy, script-writing, character development, physical theatre, vocals, dance, visual arts and performance. The Director will assist the students in writing and developing their ideas in dramatic form as they prepare for the final performance.

Our Summer Camp Day Schedule looks like this…

8:00 AM – Extended Hours

9:00 AM – Camp Starts (Morning Announcements)

9:15 AM – Ice Breakers/Snack

9:30 AM – First Rotation

10:15 AM – Second Rotation

11:00 AM – Third Rotation

11:45 AM – Lunch for Group 1 & 2

12:00 PM – Lunch for Group 3

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM – Pick up and Drop off for Half Days Campers

12:30 PM – As The Camp Turns

1:00 PM to 2:30 PM – Afternoon Rotations (1, 2 & 3)

2:30 PM – Special Events

3:30 PM – Snack

3:45 PM – Afternoon Programming (Park visits/Workshops/Staff Show)

4:45 PM – Clean up/Prep for Home

5:00 PM – Camp Ends/Extended Hours Begin

6:00 PM – Extended Hours End

**EXTENDED HOURS are supervised and free time only. Camp officially begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM each day.
